Once we understand that we have a responsibility to ensure that the next version of ourselves is a happier version than the one we are living now, and make a genuine effort to change how we look at things, we have begun the transformation into the happiest person we could ever hope to be.

I've lived through some tough times, and the years have taken their toll, but I've never felt more alive than I do right now.
Our stories are all unique, but we all face a common challenge. How do we remain optimistic and display a genuinely positive attitude when the lives we dream of, never seem to go as planned?
The painful experience of two nearly fatal accidents went a long way to teach me about patience and the recovery process.
Things like divorce, financial woes, and my current battle with a potentially debilitating disease have tested my resilience.
The good side of all that? I'm happier than I've ever been. I know that I'm blessed to have made it to this far and I'm filled with gratitude for my wonderful family and friends who are in my life. Despite my challenges, I consider myself to be living proof that life is what you make of it.
I met with a friend one evening who was looking for new employment opportunities in an effort to help her with her search. I received an email from her the next morning that my have contained the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.
It read: "I could feel the positivity and happiness radiate from you". I will treasure her words forever.
I've dedicated my life to helping others in any way that I can. My goal is to share what I have learned in the hope that I can to inspire others to make the most of every minute of their one and only life experience.

The greatness of nature can overwhelm the insignificant chatter by which we measure most of our days. If you have the wisdom and the courage to go to nature alone, the larger rhythms, the eternal hum, will make itself known all the sooner. When you have found it, it will always be there for you. The peace without will become the peace within, and you will be able to return to it in your heart wherever you find yourself.

The Battle Against Negativity
"Through the practice of deep looking, we can identify the positive seeds that we want to water every day, and train ourselves not to water the negative ones."
~ Thich Nhat Hanh
The battle begins at birth. From, the time we are born, we have the ability to feel both positive and negative emotions. These emotions and the way that they affect us are Organic. We have inherited genetic set-points that govern them.
Positive emotions like Excitement, Amusement, Trust/Love and Feelings of Wonder make us Happy. We want and crave more of them in our lives.
Negative emotions like Fear, Jealousy, Anger, and Frustration make us unhappy. We want and need less of them in our lives.
Positivity is fleeting and Happiness is transient while Negativity and the sadness, anger or other emotions it produces, can last a very long time by comparison. Why? It's something called "Negativity Bias" . When we are happy, our bias towards negativity doesn't want us to stay that way.
So what can we do? We can change the balance by Optimizing the Organic Positivity that resides within us. We can successfully improve our Positivity Ratio. Research performed in the Field of Positive Psychology has given us the information we need to do just that. I've seen it change my life, and it can change yours too.
"We are connected to a Universe that Celebrates Life"
Nature's beauty can be easily missed — but not through Louie Schwartzberg's lens. His stunning time-lapse photography, accompanied by powerful words from Benedictine monk Brother David Steindl-Rast, serves as a meditation on being grateful for every day. (Filmed at TEDxSF.)

Life enhancement and personal development coaching.
So many of us get "stuck in today" and only have a general idea, or general plans on how tomorrow could be better. I've been there. I felt like the key was just to work hard, trust the system and hope it paid off. It didn't work for me. It doesn't work for most of us anymore. As Seth Godin says "the system is broken". Coaching helps- A coach will provide the tools and guidance that will help you plan for, and make changes that allow you to take control of your own future.
